FSU baseball couldn't overcome North Carolina in a dramatic ACC tournament semifinal, as the Tar Heels downed the Seminoles 7-5.

North Carolina went with sophomore righty Jason DeCaro on the mound, who dominated Florida State in a run-rule win last weekend. In a similar vein, the Noles started Wes Mendes, the left-hander that had success in Florida State’s lone win over the Tar Heels.

The game will be televised on ACC Network. The Tar Heels are coming off a come-from-behind victory against Boston College, rallying from a two-run deficit to secure a 7-2 win in the quarterfinals.
