David Letterman doesn’t have plans of fully retiring anytime soon, the former talk show host confessed in a new interview with 'GQ.'

David Letterman is the definition of success, and he doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. The 77-year-old television personality, who captured audiences' hearts hosting Late Night With David Letterman for 33 years, interviewed with GQ about his illustrious career and his latest venture, the Letterman TV FAST Channel on Samsung TV Plus.

In a recently published interview with GQ, Letterman talked about his career, including the fact that he plans to continue it. “Retirement is a myth,” he said when asked if he would consider himself “semi-retired” now. “Retirement is nonsense. You won’t retire,” Letterman added. “The human mechanism will not allow you to retire.”

“Retirement is a myth. Retirement is nonsense,” he told the publication when asked about the status of his career. “You won’t retire. The human mechanism will not allow you to retire. What do [people] do? Sit there and wait for ‘Judge Judy’ to come on?”
