Officials with Colorado Springs School District 11 sent an email to parents explaining how schools will handle federal immigration policies.

Colorado Springs School District 11 is launching a new program at Galileo Middle School to help at-risk youth in our community.

While many local public schools and districts provide additional resources for dyslexic students, there’s only one school in Colorado Springs that provides comprehensive resources and services exclusively for them at no additional cost.

All middle and high school students in District 11 must lock their phones in magnetic pouches for the day. Teachers also have seen students' academic achievement going up slightly, however, parents have mixed feelings about the phone policy.
