Snow will start in Colorado’s mountains Tuesday morning and rain will hit lower elevations Tuesday afternoon before turning to snow overnight, according to NWS forecasters.

With strong winds expected throughout the day, Red Flag Warnings have been issued for the I-25 corridor and into the plains, including the Denver metro area.

Monday will be the warmest day of the week as temperatures soar into the low to mid 70s across the plains Monday. Fire danger will be high across all of eastern Colorado.
