Chris Kamara has revealed he is set for a commentary comeback after a health battle which left him struggling to speak. Kamara was a familiar and popular figure on Sky Sports for several years before health problems forced him to step back.

Chris Kamara is set for a dramatic return to TV following his emotional Sky Sports departure. Kamara, affectionately known as 'Kammy', left Sky Sports after 24 years with the company back in May 2022. He was best known for his role on Soccer Saturday, having also appeared on Soccer AM and Goals on Sunday.

Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara both left Sky Sports within 12 months of each other after spending several years on Soccer Saturday covering the Premier League together.

Sky Sports legend Chris Kamara is to make his football broadcasting return on Boxing Day on Amazon Prime, alongside his good pal Jeff Stelling.

Kamara, 66, was one of football's funniest and most popular pundits for more than two decades - which came after a lengthy playing career for the likes of Swindon, Stoke, Leeds , Brentford and Luton.
