Two Hurricanes stars, quarterback Cam Ward and wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, were named to the AP All-American team on Monday. Ward, a Heisman finalist, and Restrepo, an all-time UM great, also earned All-American honors from the American Federation of Football Coaches on Friday.

Hurricanes star Cam Ward did not become the third UM player to win the Heisman Trophy. Colorado’s Travis Hunter won the award.

Despite not making the College Football Playoff, Colorado star Travis Hunter did enough on the field to convince voters he was worthy of the Heisman Trophy.
