In the search for Ashley Elkins, Roseville Police said they determined foul play possibly happened at her ex-boyfriend's apartment.

Officials confirmed that the suspect who was arrested was Elkins ex-boyfriend, who's home was searched by police. Officials say during the search, it was determined that there ‘was a strong possibility of foul play involved in this incident’ and that something likely happened within the city of Roseville.

According to the Roseville Police Department, the ex-boyfriend of Ashley Elkins, the missing mother of two, has been arrested. The arrest occurred on Wednesday (Jan. 8) evening, when a family spokesperson said substantial evidence suggested that she was killed.

The former boyfriend of missing mom Ashley Elkins was arrested by Roseville police Wednesday night on charges relating to her disappearance, according to Roseville police. But police Chief Mitch Berlin said late Wednesday that Elkins’ body has not yet been found.

The hairstylist and mother of two was last seen on Jan. 2 when she left her home to run errands – leaving nothing behind except for one text from her phone, saying she was heading back from a beauty supply store.
