At Anime Expo in Los Angeles over the weekend, Netflix revealed that its anime viewership has tripled over the past five years, while sharing new looks at 'Sakamoto Days,' 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2,' 'My Melody & Kuromi' and other anticipated titles.

Netflix made a major splash at Anime Expo over the weekend, dropping new trailers, clips and images from its anime lineup including “Sakamoto Days,” “My Melody & Kuromi,” and “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2.

Netflix says half of its 300 million users now watch anime, while a Dentsu study found that almost a third of global consumers watch anime at least once a week.
