Nvidia stock rose modestly early Friday as investors digested a raft of mixed news over the past few days. Shares were up 0.1% to $147.34 in premarket trading. It closed almost flat Thursday after starting the day in the red as a fresh outlook from supplier SK Hynix cast doubt over future demand for its products.

The impact of this deal on the stock market has been quite bullish, especially for AI-related companies and those involved in the deal. Arm Holdings ( NASDAQ:ARM) is up over 12% since the deal and SoftBank is also up 12%. Oracle has gained 13%.

On Tuesday afternoon, President Donald Trump held a press conference to announce Stargate, a $500 billion artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure project in the United States. He called it the "largest AI infrastructure project, by far, in history."

Nvidia remained above the 50-day moving average Friday. Late Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced a joint venture called Stargate involving OpenAI, Oracle, SoftBank and other companies that will invest up to $500 billion in four years to build data centers and other infrastructure for AI applications.
