Rory McIlroy held his first post-round media session of the U.S. Open after shooting a 4-over 74 in the third round at Oakmont.
The U.S. Open concludes Sunday with the fourth and final round of the event at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. Sam Burns (4-under-par for the tournament) remains at the top of the U.S. Open leaderboard for a second straight day and will tee off Sunday afternoon.
Burns shot 69 to finish at 4-under-par 206, one shot clear of J.J. Spaun (69) and Adam Scott (67, matching the day's low round with Carlos Ortiz). Viktor Hovland (70) is 1-under and Ortiz is even par.
Canadian golfer Corey Conners has withdrawn from the 2025 US Open ahead of Sunday's final round. The two-time PGA Tour winner was lying tied for 39th after the third round on eight-over-par.
