Kid Cudi is expected to testify in the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial about his brief relationship with Cassie Ventura and threats Combs allegedly made to blow up his car.

Per Inner City Press, Cudi testified that he met Cassie in 2008. They became friends, and Diddy asked him in 2010 about potentially doing a song with Cassie. Cudi went on to date Cassie in 2011, at a time when he believed that she and Diddy “had some problems” and were no longer in a relationship.
