Three of us have unreserved seating tickets for a comedy show at the beginning of February. How early should we realistically arrive to attempt to get seats? It starts at 8:45PM.

Buying tickets to a show at the Soho downstairs when I am presented with an option to reserve a premium table but buying a bottle or wine or pitcher of beer in advance. Does anyone know if that is preferrable in order to get a better seat downstairs at the Soho? I would prefer to forego if possible but I might entertain it if it meant I would secure a better seat that way. Any experiences with this? Is it necessary?
A:
No, I have never had to make this decision but downstairs is not that big.
