If going to Needles District this is where the Needles formations are and it is stunning. Very remote, need to be in excellent physical shape to do the trail out there and the loop.Full review by dronesonata

The Loop is about 3 miles and is considered to be fairly flat because the total gain in vertical is small. It belies the considerable number of "ups and downs" one experiences. There is a considerable number of spots where you do some scrambling. There are also a few narrow slots but they are a short distance and look worse than they are. My wife and I are in our 70’s and had no difficulties. In fact, we were exhilarated. Bring hiking poles and water.
