As previously answered, there are docents in some buildings. The day we visited docents were present in about 1/3 of the buildings. Docents we observed were willing to spend unlimited time with you sharing information. There are scheduled events highlighting certain buildings. Click on events and historical experiences on their website to view those.
It is geared for all ages; however, there are plenty of specialty exihibts for young children, depending on the age. It is roughly 15 minutes from the Air Force Museum.
